Its the nature of the beast. Forums often are an excuse for people to trash on things they don't like / have never played / have zero intention of playing / or just generally act more rediculous then they can in real life. When your on a computer chatting to people that live all around the globe who you'll probably never actually meet in can bring about the worse in some people's cases.
The Elimination games I totally agree with, I don't see why people post so much in them but I just stay away from there they certainly are enjoyable for those who post in them so I got no problems with keeping them active.
And if you have a problem with sales threads........................eh your just on the wrong website that's what makes this community unique.
