My problem with it isn't so much that people believe in it, but how they steal from them and often break off families. I wonder how the hell it's even allowed/legal. There might be some sub sects of certain religions I don't understand but it's not all that important. |
Actually, I think wicca is one of the most easy to understand. It's kind of a divinity of science. People thought herbs had special magical properties, and in the modern world we know that they do have certain properties. The only difference is that we've come to understand that all matter is just property to be taken advantage of, there is no divinity. We know this because an evil man can make the same things a witch, or even a monkey can make as long as the materials and extraction are the same.
Without science and knowledge, these properties became godlike and mysterious, resulting in mythology from every religion since the dawn of time. Wicca is what that is, and sometimes, I think that science, that actual explanation of the world is utterly freakishly missing.
