If you truly are happy together then simple metal bands are all that are needed. So many people buy into the hype of the "big rock" ring and end up buying it on credit. The last thing newlyweds need is debt as arguments over money are the number one source of tension... How many marriages have ended even though the wife got a 2 carat nugget? A whole lot. How many marriages have been successful where the wife only had a "chip"? Many. Point here is that the cost of the ring is irrelevant. If you can afford a nice ring, great. If not, it shouldn't matter. If it does to her, your marriage is in trouble from day 1. |
