Great letter. However I think it was too directed at NDP'ers and not enough at Canadian's. But I guess he expected NDP voters to be the main ones interested in what he had to say. I think it would have also been nice if he had addressed his opposition, I think it would have touched Harper or Rae to get one final goodbye from Layton.
But you know what, the fact that on his death bed two days before he died he wrote a letter to his supporters and all Canadian's alike was highly admirable.
It touched me to read his final goodbyes and when Harper addressed the country I shed a tear. Layton was a great man, a great leader and his final words echoe the impact he has had on so many lives.
I still can't believe he's gone , its such a sad time for Canadian's.
