There is the argument that consumption of pornography leads to an increased demand in the market for sex slaves (as a great many prostitutes aren't in that trade willingly, and that is a fact), which then of course leads to irrevocably ruined lives, though i haven't seen that link as clearly. I mean, i loves me some porn, but i wouldn't solicit prostitution
Legalizing prostitution might fix the problem of sex slavery, however, since government oversight could help minimize the possibilities that brothels are stocked with girls as young as 12 abducted from Cambodia, or (as is often the case) American runaway children who got lured into that underworld somehow
