The Fury on 22 August 2011
I always find weird when people say it's the worst but the worst Final Fantasy means it's still better then most games out there.
I'd happily say that FF8 is the 3rd Best FF game I've played, after 7 because of nostalgia and XII because (ignoring it wasn't very stereotypically Final Fantasy) was a fantastic game. I will say though, the Junction system is great, battles and magic system were better then most other FF games I've played.
