Congrats, I am going through the same thing right now. Trying to figure out how much I can spend, trying to find a ring she will like, and then the most nerve racking part, actually asking her.
Just a word of advice, if you have an argument with her, and she starts saying "whatever, it doesn't even matter, etc etc," just know you have won the argument and don't press the issue any further :)
