@MARCUSDJACKSON To even add more to it, those 3rd party games are gonna be ports of games that would have already been available for the HD consoles, and to make it more pathetic, the footage they shown was taken from OTHER consoles. How in the blue hell do you have a console reveal but have a footage of other consoles?? That is insane. Compound that by the fact that Ninty really had no games to show for themselves. No Mario Mii is not a game, its a tech demo. I dont care how big a zealot someone is, i dont see how anyone can fight in Ninty's corner on this one. PSv had a better reveal, 3DS had a better reveal. The thing is i like the idea of the system and i hope it turns out cool, but Ninty isnt giving me personally, that much reasons to be excited

You are bashing Nintendo for showing X360 ports and footage. We're roughly 15-16 months away from launch, and we still have to go through another E3. How much sense does it make for them to show killer apps right now? Anything in development, and playable for the Wii U now will look much better later (see Killer Freaks). Showing those games running on the Wii U will fool people into thinking that those are the true graphics for the Wii U, when they are really early builds, running on underclocked hardware, and will look better on the final hardware.

EDIT:It was reported that Darksiders II, and Batman: Arkham City demos were pulled at the last minue for exactly the reason I said.

You also said "those 3rd party games are gonna be ports of games that would have already been available for the HD consoles" as if nothing else is in development for the Wii U. What makes you think that 3rd parties have nothing else in store for the Wii U? We won't know what type of exclusive content will be on the Wii U intil next year,

Yes the Vita and 3DS had better unveilings, but how is the Wii U unveiling any different than the Wii unveiling at E3 2005, which was ok.

Another thing, on the subject of X360 footage, how is it any different than Sony showing pre-rendered PS3 footage at E3 2005, and claiming it would look like the real thing, when the final games didn't look as good? It's pretty much BS on both sides, and both were done for the same reason.
