Science can't "debunk" religion. Science can't say anything with certainty. Why do some people view science as though it represents an absolute understanding of nature. Science is only how we interpret our limited understanding of nature.

If you understood the fundamentals of what science is then you'd understand that statement. Science is simply how we explain and rationalize our universe. Its not much different from religion in that way, just more logic based. Everything we know in science is based on trial and error, repeated tests, but just because something is true 1 trillion times over does not make it absolutely true. It true as far as we know.
