I myself am non-denominational.

I was born into a Mennonite family. I was raised Mennonite and went to a Mennonite Church for the first half of my childhood. However my family left that church and went to a Assembly Church which is pretty much Pentacostal Church. I however came to a point in my life where I no longer believed in God. I ended up going to a Sihk Temple and Muslim Mosque and such before coming back to my faith. When I came back I believed only in the Bible as my main source.

As such I did go to a Catholic Church about five times. However I found that alot of their beliefs ran contrary to what I believed. As others mentioned praying to saints and mother Mary. Confessing to Priests was another one for me, it says in the Bible to confess our sins to God nowhere does it say to confess to a priest. I also didn't think the Pope was infaulable and the direct speaker of God , I believe he is just another person like any other.

So In the end I am now at a Mennonite Church. But as other users pointed out (One going to a Baptist Church) that doesn't mean I am Mennonite. To this day I believe in certain things said in the Bible that the Mennonite Church does not. Such as speaking in Tongues and Mennonites are also Pacifists however I believe that the military is needed and service in it is honourable. Something my church disagrees with.

So my core values do not fall within a denomination. So I consider myself non-denominational!
