Hahahaha you know what I meant. Now in the US most of the illegal immigration is from South America. But here in Canada alot of it is people fleeing wars and persecution. These people aren't to be feared and we shouldn't turn them away either. Unless your native your an immigrant yourself. Its important to remember how our great country helped us (Family). We should do the exact same for those coming now unless they are criminal's in which case deport their butts. But the majority of them are simply trying to lead better lives and are fleeing persecution.

Heck even Mexican's are fleeing war. Right now the drug cartels and murdering and kidnapping Mexican's like theirs no tomorow. We (North America) should be open to helping some come to our countries. That or send aid and troops to help their country resolve its problems. Go to the source and try to end the drug wars.

But poor immigrants who worked so hard to get to Canada or the USA deserve a chance at a better life. Besides these immigrants do alot for the country.

Yeah I know what you meant, the problem is that most countries can't afford Immigrants at the moment.  While 10% and more of your population has no job and the government has a debt that is skyrocking then immigrants will possible only lead to more illegal work, less jobs for the unemployed, regions in the country with an drastic increase of social economic problems and social instability is good for nothing.  If you can't take care of yourself you would not addopt an (immigrant) child neither.
