It's never really been a debate. Afterall I said they weren't the same bus model, but it doesn't matter anyway since it's not like Obama probably picks the bus.
Well, i guess it's a debate as to if the busses were different, but I think I just put that to rest.

While I am sure they could have saved some money on the buses there are far more areas in the wasteful US government that can be looked at. It is just sad to see what the media has become. There is little to zero investigating reporting that goes on. Most is just handed to them from either the government (war info) or businesses and relayed to the viewer with little fact checking. I remember Dateline or whoever looks into government waste sometimes. It just seems like Halliburton can pretty much rape the country and there is little to no outcry. However, even the smallest waste gets blown up if it involves a politician.

I actually think they probably DID save money on busses.
I mean, I don't know how much it costs to rent busses, them being cool with you retrofitting it with all kinds of secret spy equipment and protection stuff, then paying to do that, then ripping it all out again....
but I bet it adds up.
Probably will save cash overtime as the busses will hopefully be used for 3-4 presidential elections plus any other crazy bus tours.
