Do you really think that if he was really dangerous, he would have been released in any form?

He's basically unders surveillance, so even if he it was just a "joke" he could be dangerous, he could end up carrying out his plan, now or in the future.

Why so defensive about someone who's basically threatening to murder a group of people because of their ideology?
