DIO: God of metal
Iron Maiden, Megedeth, Manowar, Judas Priest, Metaliica(old): Kings of metal
Sonata Arctica: Metal's version of Emo music. Only darker and not ending well for the girl
COB: Like most of you have said, old stuff was just amazing..new stuff..meh (i feel the same way with In flames)
Rage: 80's to late 90's: ok... 2000 to current: Melodic trash power metal? I dont know what you call it buts its awesome.
Elvenking: Folk power metal with some screaming.
Symphony X: American power metal, also has the best vocalist ever made ( ok maybe in competition with Hansi of Blind Guardian)
Blind Guardian: German power metal..wanted to write the music for the Lord of the Rings lol
Ayreon: progressive folk death metal musical act? Vocalist from other bands join to play as characters in concept albums.
Dream Theater: Progressive metal? Seen them a few times,,recently with Iron Maiden. Personally felt they put on a better show then iron maiden.
Ensiferum: Viking metal. Need a i say more? lol
Edguy: Self proclaim greatest metal band in the world.
