The only thing the Resistance series had going for it was multiplayer and they turned that to shit with R3.  Doing as well as it deserves I should think.

I haven't gotten a chance to play the beta (As I'm not an PS+ member) but from the little of it I've seen I wasn't exactly blown away by any means but I will like to have a decent community until Uncharted 3 releases which I will PLAY A LOT OF!!!
