Basically yes. It's their best interest to get as many people arrested in their jails so they can milk to government as much as they can, then add to that that it's a business adn it's in their best interest to cut costs. Whoever came up with the idea of private jails in the government must have been a fucking idiot through and through.

I'm one of the last people to ever say that the government should run something, but prisons should be run by the government only and not by corporations or businesses.
