There have been wii versions of FIFA games as well. EA Sports is an EA company. They target whoever EA tells them to target. Besides they can make games for BOTH casuals and the hardcore.

There are Wii versions of FIFA and their sales should be more than enough of a proof to show that they don't appeal to the casual market on the Wii (which is big, as we know it).

I love football games. They're amongst my most played games ever. They are casual games in the classic definition, much like COD is (in fact, they appeal to similar audiences) before casual basically came to mean shovelware.

Liking football doesn't make you hardcore, nor does it make the game in question a hardcore game.
