My grandfather died of lung cancer, and I think it's OK to joke about it.
Heck, we all in the family were even laughing a little about the fact that he smoked almost until the end (obviously it made no difference at that point), since smoking was probably what caused his cancer... Does that mean we were happy or not taking his illness seriously? Of course not.
So get the fuck off your high horse...
