LOL... what EA are you talking about? A fraction of EA's games are hardcore, most are casual.

EA goes where the money is. Why do you think they are investing so heavily in social and mobile gaming. 

Anyone can play a game like Wii Sports but you have to be somewhat of a fervent fan of soccer to get into a game like FIFA. That's the kind of hardcore I'm talking about.

And I specifically mentionned EA Sports.

There have been wii versions of FIFA games as well. EA Sports is an EA company. They target whoever EA tells them to target. Besides they can make games for BOTH casuals and the hardcore.
