Yeah I remember that, though I was hoping that word of mouth would help its sales. I play a lot of fighting games and so far nothing comes close to the awesomeness of Tekken.

I haven't played it, but even a great game with little hype stands little chance to sell big in the now cutthroat game business.

That's true. Nowadays it's all about hype. Anyway, it's dirty cheap right now (especially used, since it's £10 new in the UK), so give it a try at some point.
