x4500 should be better than x3100 as the number is about 1.5 times as big. :D
I'm using Firefox and Chrome, and 720p youtube works flawlessly with both, even full screen.
I just tested it with this video:

And I'm surprised that I can even watch that at 1080p without stuttering or anything.
