Yes, it is in Russia's best interest to sell weapons to the biggest military on the Earth. They likely make a small fortune from it.
Russia won't worry about the military strength of the Chinese too much. They aren't enemies, and Russia has too many nukes and natural resources for China to even consider entering a conflict with Russia (not to mention there's no actual reason to enter a conflict!)
