No they are not. There's a certain time period after which effects wear off. That time period depends upon how progressive the locals are.

So the 'blame the victim' mentality continues... It also depedns on how much the colonists screwed up the natives.

 I mean blacks lived in the USA so obviously its not a nation that's invaded another nation. How can that have a huge effect? You are using the same logic on groups after all.

I assume you're suggesting that beign enslaved for a couple of centuries has no long term effects on a population, right?

And the japanese had a nuclear bomb on their nation......lmao if you think they are oppressed right now you are mistaken. They have good relationship with foreigners and they don't think that America owes them anything. At least most of them. Your views that a nation should act like they are oppressed is misplaced.

The Japanese certainly aren't oppressed today. But they were never really a colony, no? And you're quite mistaken if you think that the Japanese like foreingers, or that they think that America doesn't owe  them anything. Japan is one of the most xenophobic countries in the world, and in the past decade nationalsim has been on the rise. Heck, if a native Japanese person is gone from the country for too long, he's considered 'corrupted' when he comes back, and becomes an 'outsider'. The Japanese are also still waiting for an official apology from the US regarding Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Due to this fact, they haven't even officially apologised to China for the Nanking Massacre (if the US won't apologise for nuking them, why should they apologise for commiting genocide?).

So what if someone wanted to celebrate "sexuality pride parade" involving all the bisexuals and gays and straights.....would that be heterosexist as well? Would that be supremacy as well, since the straights are included as well? After all straights doing pride parade is obviously supremacy according to you.

Of course not. The point would be to celebrate ALL sexuality. The fact that heterosexuality ALONG with homosexuality and bisexuality would be celebrated would mean that this event would put all sexualities on equal ground. It would be quite nice. Too bad no one's done something like this before.
