I personally prefer his simpler designs (e.g. Aya or Rinoa) rather than his over accessorized designs (e.g. Lulu or Tidus). He gets too much hate sometimes, though. He's a good designer.

I agree. Nomura did a great job with Final Fantasy VII. Especially Vincent and Aerith.
