With the numbers (read earning reports) that SON¥ has been putting out now, and what they have forcasted to put out in the short term, they just cannot afford to go the distance for free. PS fans would do themselves a favor by understanding that, overall, SON¥ is a business, and as such, it's main reason for being is procuring profit and the general welfare of its stockholders, not providing the hordes of fanboys with punchy arguments to brag about to the rest of us. XBL isn't any specicial and it's just a rip off and I think it's going to bite them in the ass next gen along with their lack of games.
