Harry Potter was on his way to yet another dull Divination class with Ron Weasley.
“So what are you going to say if Professor Trelawney picks you today,” asked Ron.
“Hmm, I think I will go with the usual. Somebody is going to die in the near future. I’m just not quite certain who I should say,” said Harry.
“Well that’s obvious, you should use yourself, since she always seems to make predictions about you,” sniggered Ron.
As they got into the classroom, they immediately froze. Professor Trelawney was in a trance, and mumbling something.
Harry and Ron walked nearer so they could hear what she was saying.
“...death…nearby…night,” mumbled Professor Trelawney.
“I can’t hear her,” said Ron.
“Shh!!!” said Harry.
Before they heard any more of what Professor Trelawney was mumbling, she shook out of her trance, and walked over to her desk, as if nothing had happened.
As the remaining students walked into the classroom, Professor Trelawney immediately begin the discussion by picking Harry and asking if he had any more predictions.
“Well, I had a dream last night. It warned me that I was going to die a miserable death in the very near future,” stated Harry.
“I fear it must be very near indeed, if more than just I am beginning to see that death is imminent for you,” said Professor Trelawney.
When Harry and Ron got back to the dormitory after class, Hermione was sitting in a chair near the fireplace. They told her all about Harry’s prediction, laughing the whole time.
“You shouldn’t joke around about stuff like that!” insisted Hermione.
Harry and Ron both rolled their eyes.
As night came, everybody headed to their dormitories. Not long after all the students had fallen asleep, Percy quickly awoke everybody in a rushed manner.
“Everybody must get to the Great Hall immediately!” said Percy with confidence.
Nobody knew what was going on, but as everybody filed into the Great Hall, Dumbledore was standing in the front, attempting to quiet down all of the students.
“Attention! I have an announcement to make that is of utmost importance. There has been a most horrifying death in the castle. Cedric Diggory was recently found to be dead in a bathroom. If anybody has any information they feel will help us find whoever did this horrible thing, it can be reported to a house Prefect, and they will report it to us if they deem necessary. We are requiring that everybody sleep in the Great Hall at least for tonight. If anybody needs to use the bathroom, a Prefect will walk you to and from the bathroom,” stated Dumbledore.
As night pressed on, everybody slowly began to fall asleep.
When morning finally came, there was an air of panic throughout the Great Hall. The killer had still not been found, and people were worried that somebody else might get killed.
“Attention everybody! I have another quick announcement to make. Due to the recent circumstances of Cedric Diggory being found dead in a bathroom, classes have been cancelled indefinitely. The Quidditch match scheduled for this week will also be postponed to a later date. The Ministry of Magic has already been contacted, and they will be here with a team of investigators later this morning. We sincerely hope we can catch whoever did this as soon as possible, so that classes may resume as usual,” said Dumbledore.
Day 1 Begin!
Just a few reminders, this will be a vanilla game. The only roles will consist of vanilla townie, doctor, cop, and mafia.
In order for somebody to be lynched, they must receive 50% of the votes. Should somebody not have a vote out when the day ends, by default, a “No Lynch” vote will be assigned to them.
The time limit for Day 1 will be 120 hours. Each night will have a time limit of 24 hours in which actions must be received. The following days will have a time limit of 72 hours in which a decision must be made.
