A right media would not help...
Parents are probably in a situation that they can't do a thing... In those neighbourhoods it is not uncommon that the children raise up with a parent who is unemployed and one works as a cleaning lady/warehouse worker/dishwasher and make hardly enough to come around. The children get frustrated because all the other children get more.. They meet some persons who make a ton with selling shit on the streets.. They jump in and make a load of money... 200-300 a night, parents complain and child/teen answers why he should study or take a job while he makes a lot more with what he is doing...Sure can get caught but in the worst case he will be free in a few months anyway... and parents don't go easily to the police to give their son in;..

i've lived and worked on the wandsworth rd,clapham,mare street,palmers green,turnpikre lane,holloway rd and i don't agree about the poor me syndrome they all live in free houses,free rent,free health service,free council tax they all dress fine and have smart phones and are clever enough to work out and fill in the benefits system forms they are fucking yobs with no respect for anyone who don't want to study or work,they need to get a grip on reality blaming the police and others,its pathetic they couldn't give a monkeys about decent helpful people in society trying to get by and pay for their families way of life,these people on the streets should be sent down for years causing houses to burn |
Not disagreeing with you but so long they can all do this kind of stuff with almost no risk in getting caught and a minimum penalty when they get caught they will not change their mentality... what will a 15 year old looter get anyway as penalty?

well nothing will happen to them even though cameron said if you are old enough to commit the crime etc but we all know eu,lawyers,judges etc will get them off
some have already been in court with a moment of madness,he is not normally like this excuse from the lawyer apparently,i just hope they arrest people however long it takes,facebook,twitter,mobile networks need to inform the authorities of peoples messaging to help catch them not that it will help in court i doubt,the firestarters need to be put away for 20 years minimum
