Well the officer seemed to have been refering too how children grow up these days. Saying when he was a kid they were raised on Pac-Man and Board games compared to how children these days are raised on GTA. Also his statement was probably taken out of context notice they don't name the officer so theirs no way of confirming that he said this or in such a context.
The media likes to promote contriversy they know by blaming a video game that they will get huge publicity and attract more viewers. Here where I live the media is always blaming movies and video games for almost everything. Fact is this kind of news gets alot of views and more attention then if they simply said the kids were insaine.
