Bring the military and start shooting with absolutely no mercy, that tends to be an excellent solution to problems. Rubber bullets are dumb, tear gas lasts seconds, but grenades and bullets can cause permanent damage which grants more desirable results :).
Make games, not war (that goes for ridiculous fanboys)
