You do realise that a 80Go 1.8" HDD is much more expensive than a 2.5" one ? You understand that a sensibly shrinked CPU is very expensive ? Those 2 things alone explain why the MacBook Air is much more expensive than it's MacBulk counterpart.
Having its computer half the size and half the weight costs money obviously. That's like the SSD disk, yeah it's only 64GB, and it's amazingly more expensive, but it's much faster. The simple fact that you can buy the MacBook Air with a SSD disk shows that it's targeted at wealthy people.
