Uh? Affirmative action only benefits them due to their skin color. So discrimination should be avoided but benefits are ok? That's weird.
Lets see. Blacks weren't given access to education in the past right? So according to your logic it must have been some kind of affirmative action for the whites. 100% quota for the white. What's to lose? More representation of the whites in the media etc etc.

Obviously they're not as discriminated anymore. Plus, the Democrats could've probably had a rock as a candidate, and they still would've won.
