While I think there is a valid point that straight people don't have the same need for a pride parade that gay people had when the parades first started, for the most part gay people in many/most western countries no longer need pride parades either; and it could be argued that in many regions these parades go far beyond what is acceptable or legal and the police should do their job and enforce the law in regards to public nudity and lewd acts.

Maybe in the Netherlands, but I don't really see any other countries where these parades are inappropriate. Western countries aren't as great as they think they are (they're better than other places, but they're still below the desirable standard).

For the most party, systemic discrimination has been completely eliminated in the western world ...

About the only "right" that is being "denied" to gay people in a widespread way is marriage; and more often than not that debate is not about whether homosexual couples should have the same rights as a straight couple, it is about whether the traditions surrounding marriage can be protected. Essentially, it isn't that much different between the debate over a Heterosexual pride parade, because I'm certain that the bulk of complaints over this parade is that the group is taking the name of something that is meaningful to them and warping it into something else.

I'm pretty sure the part in italics is far from the truth. Heck, in your country there are places where you can fire a person for being gay, and people cheer.

And denying gays equality IS the main reason why they've been excluded from major areas of society (such as marriage). Marriage in it's current form is discriminative, and the ones who want to maintain 'traditions' are exactly the people who want to exclude gays from society and marginalize them.

And are you seriously with the underlined? That's just one of the most idiotic analogies I've seen... today. The problem isn't the name... it's the intent (and are you actually suggestign that gays want to be able to get married to mock straight people? That's very... right wing of yourself). A straight pride parade is no differrent than a white supremacy parade. Actually 'straight pride' is pretty much the equivalent of 'white supremacy' regarding this issue.
