The reason i cancelled my xbox live account was because i felt i was getting shafted every month in comparison to my PS3, i'm not a massive socialite when it comes to my gaming i'll play with a few friends but the in game chat function is good enough for me! The features just don't stack up to justify the cost in my opinion and the big killer was to give every console a headset great in priciple but playing COD was like babysitting unfortunatly 99% of the people in the world are annoying C&^ts. If live were free i'd be there in an instant but the cost just doesn't justify it next to a free alternative (well 2 alternatives PC & PS3)
Do i think it would been more successful yea but alot? i doubt it.
