Vita to sell 10M less units than PSP by same point in lifetime? Sorry, I just don't see it.

The PSP had the advantage that it was assumed by consumers, developers and analysts that it would assume. This is gone of course.

However, PSP has built up a loyal fanbase, particularly in Japan, and a developer base who are willing to put games on the system. Additionally, the 3DS seems likely to be a slightly weaker competitor than the DS was. These advantages should be able to counteract the disadvantage above, PSV sales should stay in the range of 95%-125% of PSP's at the same point in lifetime.
