I know, i was fooled too. It doesn't seem too far out there that you could teach some higher apes about the concept of death. Obviously all animals understand danger, but do they understand its final end?

That's the question, current other animal intellegence seems to be right at that level of little kid where death is sorta undertstood, but it's permanence isn't.

So it's an interesting question for sure.
