I tried reading The Three Musketeers, but I just couldn't get into it. Don't like Dumas's writing style. I wonder if this is any better. The story itself seemed more interesting.

I loved Musketeers; if you couldn't get into it, don't even think of touching The Hunchback of Notre Dame. That book drove me to distraction. Hated it.

I started reading Hunchback a while back, and actully somewhat liked it (despite my general dislike of the period in which the story takes place). I should finish reading it eventually (note: Hunchback was written by Victor Hugo, not Alexandre Dumas).

I knew I had the wrong name. I'm bad with U names.

It starts off fine and ends fine but he spends what feels like 80 pages describing the architecture of France as seen from above. It's painful.
