Fortunatly most anti-piracy progams they use now are way better. In fact you don't notice they're running anymore.
Trackmania is Starforce protected. First version was screwing everyone's PC but now with Trackmania United there is no issue with anyone.
Btw: didn't mention that Trackmania United is very good, try the free game nation to check it out.
