lol good old Harper. With all that spare time maybe he should be doing something productive, like planning out a budget that doesn't run our country a deficit.

Ummm thats what the Finance minister is for, its not like the Prime Minister himself makes all of the policies budgets and actions. I mean can you imagine if he actually did everything himself? Their is a reason we have a Government and not a single dictator heck even dictators have underlings doing alot of their work.

The job of Prime Minister is hard enough without having to do everything yourself. People voted the Conservative Party in, not just Stephen Harper. P.S- a deficit was inevitable the global economy was and is still in ruins for the most part, breaking even or having a surplus would mean alot of cuts and way higher taxes, a small deficit is hardly a bad thing considering the situations other countries are in. Infact Canada did fairly well and had one of the lowest deficits in the Western Hemisphere. Look at Europe right now, we did good and that is partially do to the Conservative Party and in turn Stephen Harper.

Well you're right it would be the finance minister, not Harper himself.

I'm gonna have to disagree with you though. There is no good reason for a country to ever run a deficit. If the CEO of a big company ever ran a deficit his ass would be fired immediately. The government just has to make some tough decisions and decide where to cut spending so we can get back to being profitable. I wish they would just put their feelings/morality aside and instead look at the cost/benefit ratio of each program to decide which ones to cut. I know its a tough call to make but it needs to be done.
