And no I don't think Sony was first to release 3D TVs. I just think they promoted the most.

They probably were never the leaders in 3D, so I don't they 'fell' from any where.

And this is only for the month of May right? Who knows how often sales fluctuate throughout the year


You know people were saying the same thing when HD came out, why buy a HD tv there is no real difference, what happen is it just became a madatory feature of all new tv's, 3D will be the same, it will just become a feature of all new TV's. SONY/Samsung etc are all pushing 3D tv's to help boost sales and for SONY to help there movie media business get more money from increase Blu ray sales.
