Sony shipped 3.9m in 2011.
Microsoft shipped 4.4m in 2011.

PS3 and 360 shipped BOTH shipped 13.7m in the 12 months to the end of June 2011

The 360 has shipped 0.5m more during 2011.

Oh, my, I misread "2010" in Ethomaz  answer! I'm wrong, you're right. Although it looks very strange, considering that XB360 outsold PS3 in H2 2010 and PS3 outsold 360 in H1 2011, but yes, more or less units on the shelves and in the channel for one or the other in the different periods can make it possible.
