Possibly. MS may make Windows 8 and Xbox extension, meaning only games with Xbox brand will run on PC. Also meaning Xboxs sales persay may not mean as much on sites like this. As MS may strategise Phones, PC and Xbox togther. Of which Sony and Nintendo will lose out heavily. For example MS own windows. MS own Xbox. If forza 5 for example sold 15 milion across the unified Xbox/windows platform it would still be classed as 1 solid first party title reaching more players than Sony. Essentially meaning MS have more gamers in total.
MS would not care how it gets the gamers, but how many it has in total.
I wonder i MS would ever buy out Steam or VAlve. IT certainly can with amazing ease.
