I don't think a lot of people understand why momentium is so important ...
- People tend to buy the system that their friends have and/or they have had personal experience with.
- The media focuses on the most popular system and people have a (generally) favourable impression about anything that is presented by the mainstream media
- Third party publishers focus on the most popular system, and consumers are attracted to the system with the best third party support.
- Retailers devote far more space to popular systems, and the larger quantity of games and accessories gives potential consumers the impression of a "better" library
