Some parts of the plot were clichéd and some characters' personalities were as well. It's flawed in that respect, but I still enjoyed it very much because I loved the presentation, the locales, the lightning quick battle system (no pun intended and despite the "press X 500 times" syndrome) and the layer of polish. Played for 116 hours and got the platinum trophy.
