next gen is a promising prospect which will drive competition closer then whts seen in today's market.
i think its likely PS3 will pass 360 by April-Aug yr 2012 as Sony seems to do good sometimes in Jan. and not often in Feb,but the spring-summer market is always Sony's this gen it seems.
10% is not much of a lead when 360 is only about 800,000 units behind. that lead can be chipped away like always when November starts.
i still don't see much a difference in sales through the 2011 holiday season but Sony could pull a fast one and beat out the com by 2m although its not likely but its almost guaranteed to win the fall season a fiscal yr and more then likely to take second place but i wouldn't bet on it cause i don't gamble.
srry just not a betting man.
the only months PS3 has left are August, September, and Oct. which seem to be kind to Sony.
now unless something changes this holiday season where Sony some how sales even to Wii and 360:Even if PS3 sales are off by a couple thousand Sony could walk away the winner for the 2011 fiscal yr end and take the lead by April through August.
