I give FattyDingDong some cred for making this thread but do agree with Makingmusic476, he does know how to rile up VGC
OT: If I were to take this thread seriously(which I somewhat am doing) I personally think the Wii will be first this holiday season, we've said this for about 2 years about how the wii was losing momentum and that it would be overtaken and then BAM!!! look who's sitting on top.(talking WW though)
it will be a close battle for 2nd place and I believe the PS3 might just make to 2nd place as I think a price cut will be favoring the PS3, the lowest selling model is $300 where it's competition while its competitors have a $150-$199 console. if the PS3 is holding good position during these weekly charts, imagine what could happen with a price cut during the holiday season.(might have another 2009 on our hands...but bigger)
for exclusives: Gears 3 and UC3 will give their consoles a good boost, though Gears 3 is much bigger(Speacailly in the NA) so it's mostly a given that the 360 will get a bigger boost to the 360 then UC3 will do for the PS3, now tag that with Halo CE and this could put the 360 on top of the PS3.(NA wise) though FF XIII-2 is releasing in Japan and I believe UC3 will be stronger in EMEAA than NA.
as for Call of Duty and other multiplats won't make much of an impact Hardware wise; both console will recieve boosts but no title will be the "nail in the coffin" for the othe console
the biggest thing MS/360 has is Kinect, I know most gamers were upset about MS E3 conference being heavy on Kinect(myself included) but kids will eat that Disneyland, Fun Labs , Star Wars Kinect up. though I don't think "Kinect Effect" will be of the magnitude it was last holiday season.
I know America doesn't equal the world, but it plays a pretty damn big part lol
