In my four years being a member here on VGC I have learned one or the other thing, but if someone asked me what the biggest revelation was in all those years, then it has got to be the realisation that Nintendo fans have more gray matter than Sony fans. And no, when I say gray matter I am not talking about NES, SNES or original Gameboy hardware. I know that I am tackling quite a touchy subject here, but anyway. Here are five excellent reasons why Nintendo fans are intelligenter than Sony fans:

1. We don't pick unnecessary fights - Why does it matter if one version of a game has a little bit more grass in it than the other? Does it make that version magically better? We couldn't care less about Grand Theft Auto IV and other major multiplatform games and I for one never felt the need to make a thread to declare the superiority of my console of choice, my favorite company or its fanbase.

2. We are content with the number of game releases by our favorite company - Sony fans keep bragging about the number of games that get released for the console of their choice nowadays, but in all honesty, it just makes you look desperate. Why? Because it seems like you would be unable to have fun with less games and therefore are always demanding more of them. Nintendo fans are perfectly content with being able to count the number of worthwile releases in a given year on two hands and that has nothing to do with the fact that it greatly annoys us that we have to pull off our socks everytime we need to count past ten.

3. We don't buy into PR - Is the PlayStation Vita really that good of a value? Surely, if Sony sells it for the same price as Nintendo does the 3DS, then it can't be all that. It just shows lack of confidence in their own product and by defending Sony you people just show that you blindly buy into PR, no matter how stupid it is. On the other hand the 3DS is of incredible value, because never before has it been so easy to hit a block in a 3D space.

4. We don't believe in game gods - Hideo Kojima, Fumito Ueda, you name them. It doesn't matter if they didn't make any worthwile game for years (or any game at all for that matter), they still get showered with praise as if there is no tomorrow. Contrast that with the way Nintendo fans see their favorite company and you won't find the same kind of worship, not even remotely close. Well, there's Shigeru Miyamoto who is probably the most awesome person to ever live on this planet, the creator of the most popular series in video games history, the man divine angel who made Nintendo what it is today... I could go on, but I digress. The point is that Nintendo fans do not believe in game gods.

5. We've got Wii Dare- everyone knows that Wii Dare was a classic in the making, shamefully it was banned. Whatever you consider "hardcore", this topples them all.

So I conclude my top five plays, over and out.

Wow, interesting thread.
