Can that thing still float? 100 metric tons of added gold require the displacement of extra 100 cubic meters of pure water to float. Of course, considering the value, this thing will probably have it's own artificial lake filled with ambrosia to float on, all housed in a crystal dome on Mars (where the gravity helps with the flotation too).
