I think it depends on the developer experience you have on hand. From this perspective, the vast majority of the programmers with experience will have good DirectX and or OpenGL knowledge on PC, which makes them more familliar with the Xbox architecture than the PS3's.  - So mabie Vigil lost 2 or 3 PS3 gurus and now it's hurting and the management (who should have kept them on in the first place) is frustrated at the PS3.

Also, easier doesn't mean better. Look at Heavenly Sword - HAHA!!

@OP: Title should have read "... for Some Developers" (which, truth be told, is true for any system and some developers)
