I voted Left 4 Dead 2, but it barely won. Both games are great, but they both have strong weaknesses which make me want to never play these games again after I beat them and spend 10 hours online.

Left 4 Dead 2 didn't improve Left 4 Dead that much. It's really short, and when you play with random people, the experience can be fun as hell, or a waste of time. Multiplayer is unbalanced, one team is often far better then the other, and to be honest the game just lacks content.

As for Killzone 3, the campaign is fun as hell, but there are serious flaws to the game design. First of all, I can't continue a co-op campaign in single player or vice versa, this is a huge b***h for me, so much I wouldn't even consider this a co-op game. It's the most annoying thing not being able to finish a game because of this and having to start all over. On top of this, multiplayer is even more unbalanced, however this time it's because of the maps. Every map has a spot where you can just go on kill streaks without contest, and too many people camp.

So really L4D2 wins because there are less flaws. Killzone 3 overall is a better game. The campaign is the best in the series, and it's one of the best looking FPS's I've ever seen. Environments are believable and beautiful, voice acting is great, and you actually care for the story. Take away annoying Rico, and make the game more co-op friendly, and it would rank among the better FPS's this gen. As for L4D2, fun as hell game, especially when you have 4 people you know to play with, but when you're on your own, after your friends have moved on, it's a drag.

Huh? No offense but either you kinda....are not that great in mp or .....nvm man. I have played through every map every class so far except for the latest 2 from the recent DLC and no class feels unbalanced and any minor advantage has been situational. For example in any corridor/indoor area in Frozen Dam, I can pick off a infiltrator rushing casually at me. If you have trouble going from ISA to Helghast side in FD because of snipers then you are not that good at all. In boulevard the same thing as well as concourse. Try becomming more diverse with your class strategies. Cloak off a blind side and communicate with a tactician to pick people off (if you're an infiltrator). As a marksman cloak with an silenced smg on top of doors and around corners. It's easy to pick cloaked marksmen with medics with bots. Also don't forget that advanced marksmen have radar jamming so that is a dead giveaway that they are near (assuming you are smart enough to pay attention to your radar. As a tactician mainly rely on wits as far as spotting people (paying attention to when cross hair is red) and learn to use your counterstrike reflexes (as in everytime you get in a room check your blindspot corners fast). As an engineer set turrets up in blindspots in rooms and learn to set up C4's in opposing sides of turrets where potential victims will most likely try to strafe to crush turrets. As a tactician your air support should always be set up at your tac-spawns closer to corridor type areas so snipers do not pick them off out in the open (especially in salumon market). Any camp spot you chose should always be backed up with mines at about 10 ft away from you at your blind side, while grenades are for full on assaults (unless you're an infiltrator where you drop them behind u when you rush in to melee and get out and they follow you). I can write up a whole set of strats you should follow, and although I left my clan since I recently took a KZ break for college and internship, I'd be happy to play with you. As for co-op you can continue where you left off.

I'm the one that exploits the maps flaws and gets 10-20 kill streaks, so no I'm pretty good in MP, and aren't you basically telling me some of the exploits?

I don't know the map names by heart, but every map in Killzone 3 has a chockhold location, or a hidden camping spot. In the jetpack map with the energy thing in the middle, you can easily fly off about a third way into the map and hide on a high temporary platform. You can also hide underground in the middle spawn, most people who spawn there never look into the corner, and just try to run out. If you have spawn, people just run in hoping no one is there.

Another map has 2 mechs, one on each side. Get in the mech and minimum, you have a 10 kill streak. If the enemy team mech dies, you can easily finish the entire map without dying. This is why this map only ever has 4 gamers or so playing it.

It's a fun as hell game, and if you play a game with only good people, these camp sites just become easy targets, and then the action is fun as hell. Multiplayer for both games is fun as hell, and it's a close call. However the poorly constucted co-op system is a major flaw IMO, and online gets repetative after a while.

lol either you are lying about the kills you got OR you got to play against some real real weak opponents..both maps you mentioned I have played to death and you are just wrong. It does have some point of camping (uc is the only game I have seen than has countered camping really well in MP) BUT no way in hell against a good or even decent player you can get away with it easily. the maps you are talking about are cornith highway and turbine concourse. and no you can't get away with mechs that easily either..few good shots, one RPG shot and you are dead..or heck one good sniper and you are dead...so this is just nonsense

and 4 gamers? LOL i have no idea what to tell you there other than this is just utter bs.....i got into a few games which by errors had 1-4 people but in no way is that the norm..snipers LOVE Cornith Highway as far as I know...and warzone is a lot of fun in that map since its a BIG map...I play as infiltrator mainly and pretty much all maps are great playgrounds for me...fave being bigarsk blvd

the ONLY gripe I have with kz3 mp is some of the spawn points but that's about it

seriously either you are lying, or had a very little time with the mp OR for some weird reason got the luck of playing against some real weak ass opponents...what's your rank in KZ3?

oh and I won't even comment on can finish the map without dying bit if the enemy mech is down HAHAHAHA I mean ffs..I sometimes play in maps where none of my team mates don't even use the mech for the whole game! we STILL win

I've only played Killzone 3 online for bout 10 hours, since it's ranked I may have just been matched with newbs, but when I did play 10 kill streaks were common on the jetpack map with the green fuel thing. Blood Gauch (I think) was a more balanced map, I only manage 5 kill streaks on that map, and I believe you get a silver trophy for it.

And just because I often get into stupid arguements on VGC about PS3, I'll let you know my PSN ID. ItDontFryPickles. Send me a message and I'll reply, you will see I have at least that Blood Gauch silver trophy. Just let me know it's you in the message. Is that enough to show you I'm not lying?

When I played those maps I mentioned, I got over 10 kill streaks easy. Not all maps are unbalanced, a lot of the DLC maps seem to be more fair, and I would even say well built (I do really enjoy Blood Gauch).

Also I never played that mech level with over 8 people, 4 vs. 4. It's a terrible map, and the lack of players on it show that.

see that just doesn't make any sense whatsoever, I don't care if you are the god of FPS or something but unless you are lying or played against a bunch of noobs no way in hell is that that easy. and the number of players is just flat out false, like I said I'm a major general 1 rank player, I know what I'm talking about.I only once played cornith highway with less numbers and that was when i partied up with (think) it was radientshadow once and we ended in a 4 vs 4 match..and I have played that map to death. It's not a terrible map at all, it's a huge map, lots of tactical routes to take and campers can be taken care of by any competant player..or even a noob

the maps are not unbalanced, stop ranting on bout that. you said people can camp on those two matched. Tell me where and I will tell you exactly why that's just flat out BS. Post in my wall since we are derailing a bit here. But yeah tell me where in the map the so called camp points are and also tell me your rank in the MP, no need to add on psn, I'll take your word for it

about that past debate, you said kz3 doesn't have it and you were caught in a lie, stop running around it. I called you out and it was obvious you had no idea what you are talking about. It's not as deep as, let's say UC3, options but there are many weapons and abilities specific to each class to be unlocked. the search function is a real pain in the ass if not I would have gladly found the post to you but I do remember it clearly.
