your version of time travel (back in time) is actually a realistic one, your multiple realities are predicted by quantum physics which is considered reality and the only physical theory thats always right so far. since paticels go every possible way but we can see just one outcome. all the other informations are split between an infinite number of realities. particels behaving like that is proven fact.
